Welcome to Hilltop Family Farm
A first-generation family farm in Georgetown, Ohio — becoming a four-season destination for cut-your-own flowers, pick-your-own produce and pumpkins, and cut-your-own Christmas trees.

The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The Lord your God will bless you in the land.
– Deuteronomy 28:8
We didn't find this land by accident — we call it a blessing, and we hope to share a little of it with your family too.

Four seasons, four reasons to visit: cut-your-own flowers, pick-your-own produce, a pick-your-own pumpkin patch, and cut-your-own Christmas trees — all grown right here on our 110 acres.
What we offer

Hilltop Family Farm exists to connect families with the land that feeds them. We farm to protect our soil, water, and nearly 110 acres for the next generation — man, animal, and earth. Along the way, you'll meet our miniature donkeys, pony, Dexter and Scottish Highland cattle, and babydoll sheep — plus a barn full of antique tractors.

Our Story
We're Jeremy and Jennifer Armstrong, and this is our story. We spent years working in finance and technology, living in Jacksonville Beach, Florida — Jeremy grew up on farms not far from here, Jennifer's a Florida girl through and through. When our daughter was born in 2020 and the world went remote, city pace stopped fitting. So we did something a little crazy: we rented out our house, bought a fifth wheel, and hit the road full-time for almost a year and a half — the Carolinas, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Niagara Falls, upstate New York, down through the bayou, and back to Ohio. Somewhere out there we realized what we wanted was roots.
We found this hilltop by accident — or what we've come to call a blessing. Driving the scenic way home along the Ohio River, Jeremy pointed out across the valley and said it might be the most beautiful view in the state. We'd driven right past the for-sale sign. We closed on 110 acres in August of 2023. Our farmhouse turned 100 years old in 2025 — it came out of a Sears catalog, shipped here by rail and built by hand. We're a first-generation farm, learning as we go, and we're building this place — season by season — into somewhere your family can come back to, year after year.
Follow the Journey
We're documenting the whole build on our YouTube channel, Up on the Hilltop — the wins, the mistakes, and everything in between. New episodes cover what day-to-day life on a first-generation family farm actually looks like, from planting our first Christmas trees to prepping the ground for next year's produce.
